Innovation Challenge
The Food Ark Innovation Challenge is an annual competition between high school chapters to win a grant of $750 for an innovative and feasible project that addresses food insecurity beyond the school community. The winning chapter will work with the Board of Directors (BOD) and judges to carry out the project over the next school year. The project should focus on educating and/or helping members of the general community in topics relating to food insecurity, sustainably and creatively. The project should also be feasible and make a measurable difference in the community.
NC Child Hunger Leaders Conference
The NC Child Hunger Leadership Conference is a conference located in North Carolina which was hosted by the Carolina Hunger Initiative(a segment of UNC Center for Health Promotion and Disease Prevention) on the dat of Feb, 22, 2023.This conference not only marks a day of celebration towards the contributions towards child hunger but also a day for creating new plans and strategies to combat it.
